Show and Tell: Decals on My Car
I love these 'Illumination Mandalas' and think they're so cool. The company is out of Australia, so many of the images are Australian. You can see the kangaroo, kookaburra and native Australian flowers, like the ones Monica gets! Sorry I didn't get a better pic of those. I will try when it's sunnier. I found the kangaroo and Oz flowers decals at a thrift store and the other ones I've gathered over the past five years that I have had my car. I love these. I have to resist the urge to buy a million of them to cover my car with. :D
On a related note, I really need to wash my car inside and out. So dusty and grimy!
Love,
MM

Heehee, cleaning the car sounds like a good New Year's Resolution ;) Those are very fun and pretty Decals. However, I don't have a car... My MIL bought me a rainbow-maker for Christmas - I'm going to put it on our living room window, as I'm sure Big Boy will enjoy the rainbows, too. When we finally get some sun again, that is...

Oh yes...absolutely. I hate it when my car gets gross and grungy. At least I keep the clutter inside the car down to a minimum. Not so much with the trunk but I'm working on that...
DeleteI also need to change my oil. I hate how expensive it is but I should do it. I just paid off my car (!) so i want it to last. I've had it five years now...almost six, actually. It's a Toyota Corolla and tends to have good longevity.
Thanks! I am glad you like them. I like the color they add. I love rainbow makers! I thought we owned one but apparently I was wrong. I have a crystal hanging in the dining room but it doesn't make rainbows...guess it's not quite right for that. Sounds like fun.
Oh you don't have a car? I don't know why I'm surprised. I'm glad for my car. It would be hard to get around here without one. Terrible bus system...just awful! When I saw how bad it was I knew I'd need a car.
Hope you have some sunny days.
XOXO,
MM
Yeah, I never like trashy cars, with lots of mess inside. It can be the coolest car in the world, but if it's full of rubbish it looks dreadful! However, hiding it in the trunk is a different matter :)
DeleteWe decided about six years ago that we really didn't need a car. They're so expensive to run and to park, and we're fairly central, with underground and overground trains, and buses. Plus lots of stuff is walking distance (especially as we're happy to walk a couple miles). And any time we really need a car, we're part of a car club. So, you book a car on-line, and just pay for what you use. There are cars just two minutes from us, so it's really convenient, too :) We couldn't do it if we didn't live in the city, but it works out just fine for the moment.
Wishing you sunny days, too,
XOXOXO,
Chloë
Ok I want some of those!! He he. I have one Save the Turtles sticker, and could do with a few more - hippy bling, I say :) I would love some tarot card ones though, now that would be cool. Your world is very colourful!
ReplyDeleteYou absolutely need some of these! For one thing, it makes recognizing my car easier, but I've also used these (and ones similar to it, a different brand) in my house on the windows for a cheap stained glass/decorative effect. Hooray for hippy bling! I know what you mean. Tarot ones would be neat. Not sure if they exist or not.
