Upcoming Influences Rune Reading

Here's the rune reading I did while in Estes Park yesterday. I admit I am a novice when it comes to runes. I just used some key words that came with the admittedly cheesy booklet. I am going to research further into the rune meanings so I can get a more well-rounded definition of them, but for now I'm going to let this ride and see if anything comes up in the nearish future around these areas.

Here are links to meanings of each rune:

Othala

Raidho

Jera

I've read about runes here and there, but for some reason I find the information difficult to retain. Luckily, I can easily look up and cross-reference information, which gives plenty of food for thought.

Love,
MM

  1. Hiya MM,

Seeing this post straight after your decision to go on hiatus, I see it as focusing on growth and progress at home will bring you a harvest. Seems like you're making the right choice, according to the runes :)

    Wishing you well, hugs,

    1. It could be! I am not entirely sure. It is so odd. It almost seems like someone selling house moving off somewhere, but that isn't accurate as we moved last year. So it must be much more metaphorical. So I think you may be right! I do think I am growth-focused, as I have been thinking about my priorities over the past month or so. The new year did that to me. Those workbooks you gave me definitely gave me lots of areas to think about. Thanks so much again. How are you feeling about this year so far?

      Hugs,

    2. I've been feeling good about this year. I really enjoyed the workshop, and I'm looking forward to completing the Celtic Lenormand, as well as having quite a few other ideas and projects bubbling. So, it's all good.

Glad the workbooks helped you, and hope that stepping back from the internet allows you to direct your focus where you want it.

      Lots of hugs,

    3. I've been reading about that. I am glad that you've been following your creative instincts in doing the Lenormand workshop. I hope you get to do another one soon. I am sorry Big Boy has been sick and out of school! I know you never get enough rest.

I am going to be doing some major brainstorming and working out the rest of this week. A friend of mine who owns a very successful Etsy shop is sending me some candle-making supplies and I may go ahead with my idea to make treasure or other candles, and possibly sell them along with some other items. We'll see!

Hope you have a great day.

    4. Ooh, I can imagine you making some really funky and beautiful candles! Whatever you choose, enjoyment should be a big part of the process :)

    5. Yeah, I am not entirely sure how it will go but I had been pondering treasure candles. Not sure if you've heard of them, but little trinkets, gemstones and things are found inside the candle as it burns down. I had fond memories of them as a kid when my parents got one. I am not sure yet but I wanted to start with a couple different offerings and then go from there!

      Awesome Hugs,

    6. I'd never heard of treasure candles, but they do sound pretty awesome! I'll definitely buy some if you make them :D

    7. Aww...you're so sweet. You don't have to do that! It's great if you're a pyro. Haha. But seriously...oh, I love it. I was pondering making a couple tarot-themed ones, or spiritual/meditative ones. Sort of like a junk reading, where you give meanings to the trinkets, put them in the candle randomly and each candle has a different message for whoever readings it, according to the key. A fun idea, anyway!!!

      Much Love and Melty Goodness,

    8. That's an interesting idea! You could put little pebbles with runes on them in, too...
