An Unexpected Oracle: Rory's Story Cubes

Excuse the photography. It's dark and I had to use flash...

Recently we got this game which is a story-telling prompt, using dice. There are a ton of different combinations and when we used it I had a lightbulb go off (not unlike the one seen in the image above) that this would make a great oracle! So I will try to post some readings with it. Some of the ones I did can be seen above, but I want to do something very specific with it and then post it.

Love,
MM

  1. I saw these in a bookshop some months ago and thought the exact same thing! I would LOVE to see you reading with them. I think that would make an excellent oracle. You've got me interested in them again. I think you can get different sets over here that can be combined. They look great too, don't they!

    1. Oh! Cool. I am not the only one. I knew that any oracle-using person MUST have thought of this, too! Hope you get some and do some readings.

    1. Hehee. You're so cute.

Haha. Well, how about you get some!?! Or get some plain dice and draw symbols on them. I thought about that too. I am gonna do some readings with it this week and see how it goes...

  3. Hiya MM,

LOL, I got these last year, just for doing oracle readings. Not that I've gotten around to using them yet. I also got them for one of my goddaughters - have to pretend to be adult sometimes ;)

Will look forward to reading how you go with them!

    1. Oh you did? You should blog with them sometime!

I haven't done a lot with them yet since I went on my self-imposed internet restriction, but perhaps next week I'll feature them more.

Good luck pretending to be an adult. Aw heck...maybe you shouldn't. :D

      Much Love,
      MM
