Hi MM,It's funny, as I have this deck, so I've seen this card before. But seeing it here on your blog, I suddenly heard Sarah McLachlan singing Drawn to the Rhythm: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rxoTDrZ6Gk Something there about what mesmerises us, and what fires us up and actually gets us moving...Sorry, rather weird, vague comment, but it was one of those instant hits :)Weekend hugs,Chloë
I like the weird, vague comment. The post was pretty nebulous---hah! I really enjoyed the song. Your comment reminds me of what I was just writing about---motivation and energy have to come from love and enjoyment or there is no momentum.
Oh, I love that song! :-)
I've never seen this deck before but an curious about the rest of it. I like this one and don't like it all at the same time. Think I need to just look at it for awhile. Also plan to have a listen to Drawn to the Rhythm .. thanks Chloe.Have a great weekendxxxooo
It is a great deck! Go get it. Heheh. I will post more with it so stay tuned.... Hugs!
Now this post, while being about you (!), actually reminds me to collate all my moth photos and post them up! You won't believe the variety in moths here (tropical Australia, after all). I think I have photos of about 30 different ones, but there's probably well over 100 flying about... makes sense since I live in Proserpine, named after Persephone, she of the underworld myth... Can someone please extend the 24 hour day to about 40?! Really, I need more time for blogging!!! Hugs xx
Ahh--sounds like a cool project! That is a cool-sounding town. Hey, have you heard that that famous life couch lady (Leonie Dawson) is from Proserpine? I don't think she lives there anymore, but not sure if you had seen her because you might travel in similar circles.Hope you're well, dearie!XOXO,MM
Hi, yes, she is :) she lived here until a couple of years ago, I think, then she moved further north. From memory, I think somewhere around Cairns. She's got some cool stuff and very uplifting messages. Good to see Proserpine having a near-celebrity status ha ha. In reality, it's a small humble sugar cane farmer town. There's a hideous sugar mill right smack in the middle of it, and it operated from July to November non-stop, so right now there's a plume of smoke coming out of its chimneys.... I wonder who eats all this sugar?!! Fizzy drink companies? Now I'm just rambling, better go make my morning coffee he he. xxx
Oh wow...that sugar cane factory sounds kinda evil, like the start of a Tim Burton film. :DDon't tell Leonie (SHH! ;D) but I like you better. hahaa! I have her Incredible Life workbooks (thank you, Chloë), and there are some very nice things about them, but some of it is just...over the top for me. But I think that can be very helpful for most people just to get out of a rut.I feel zonked out. Had some kombucha and need to eat something substantial, maybe. I feel so tired lately that I haven't felt like cooking but I want to eat as wholesomely as possible and I feel a bit scared after getting food poisoning recently.I am rambling, too! Hope the coffee was good. Gosh I love coffee. Trying to cut back but oh...it is so good.Hugs,MM
