Set Your Sights Higher

Excuse the quality of this image--a bit grainy in parts. I got this cheesy/goofy Magical Mermaids and Dolphins app on my phone, just for the heck of it. Here's a card I decided to post for today's full moon. I admit I often lower my standards, or don't even try. Maybe this is giving me a little push to try harder, reach higher.

Hope everyone is well!

Love,
MM

  1. That is a coincidence. I've bought this "cheesy" deck two days ago secondhand online . Like you, I've bought it just for fun. But I have to admit the messages are not bad at all.
I hope you have as much fun with it as i do :D

    1. Very cool, Ellen! I admit I have a soft spot for cheesy decks. ;) This sort of deck helps relax me because it is so mellow.

    2. Yes that works for me to. I remember having said to you something about my "quick tarot fix"

  2. I had a dream a while ago that I saw a real mermaid. In my dream, it was creepy and scary and not at all magical. lol! Since then I've seen mermaids every single day. I can't imagine what this could mean. Oh well, just sharing. ;-)

    1. Siddaleah, that is hilarious and creepy. Do tell us more about that! Was the mermaid in your dream scary or just icky like a dead fish?
Might want to look up the symbolism of mermaids and see what you come up with!
      Hugs to ya...

    2. I did look up the symbolism and am still stumped. It was sort of slithery and slimy and not very nice. I saw a picture of one somewhere recently that was just like it, and now I can't remember where, darnit. lol

  3. Magic Mentha I have a question for you. I would like a deck that is 100% comforting and uplifting, and I am aware that Doreen Virtue fits that bill. Could you advise on your favourite and best Doreen Virtue deck for soothing and uplifting?

    1. Eowyn...let me think! One that popped to mind is Doreen's Goddess Guidance oracle. I find that they are all positive. If you don't mind that they're all goddesses then I think you may enjoy it!

  4. Yay to cheesy and goofy ...

Sometimes, it is so nice to just have these reassuring messages, isn't it?

I have been using Doreen Virtue's two tarots this week on the blog .. but I splashed out on one of her oracles today. Well, my bf was buying wine, and since I don't drink anymore, I thought 'why not'. To add to the list of advice regarding her oracles, I bought the Indigo Oracle. The artwork is very nice on that one .. it's possibly not got so much of the cheese-factor, but it looks as though it is going to be a nice accompliment to her tarot decks on my blog. It's this one - http://www.carolheyer.com/3/post/2013/08/indigo-angel-oracle-cards.html

    1. Woo! Hip, hip...

I haven't seen that one. Isn't it newer? I'll go take a peek! I agree that an oracle deck is a better investment than wine. Hehee. You can use it over and over again and you don't just pee it out. ;)

      Much Love,

    2. I think it is pretty new, yes. I find it easier to use, since the words on the bottom of the cards are minimal in comparison to many others she has done.

And yes, far better than wine :)
